As the weather improves, this time of year presents all sorts of new possibilities so take the opportunity to get out in the fresh air and sunshine…
Go for a Picnic
For an intimate (and cheap) time, just pack up a bottle of wine and some sandwiches and head to the park. You can find as secluded a spot as you like, giving you plenty of time to chat with no interruptions. Just make sure you don’t set yourselves down in the middle of a Sunday league game of football!
Life’s a Beach!
OK, so it may not be warm enough to swim or sunbath just yet, but right now you’ll find seaside resorts a lot less crowded than in the middle of summer which leaves more space for sunny strolls on the beach, fish & chips on the promenade and losing a few pounds in the amusement arcades!
Plain Sailing
No, not a fortnight cruising the Med (that’s more of a summer date!). Just find your closest river or lake and hire a rowing boat or pedalo for a few hours to get away from the crowds. Avoid a canoe though (unless you’re particularly fond of the back of your date’s head!).
Full of Hot Air?
With nature blooming and the countryside coming to life, there’s no better time to take to the skies for an aerial view of your area. There are numerous companies offering trips ranging from a couple of hours to day-long excursions with prices to fit every pocket.
