I’ve been on the site for sometime now, and in my time here I have made many friends. I have even met a lot of my new friends in person through meets and makeovers arranged by Singles365.com. Then I met Glen who lives about 40 minutes away from me, we first met in the chat room.

Admittedly I’ve spoken to guys in the past for months before even considering arranging a meet, however this time we both just wanted a laugh. We appeared to have so much in common!!! So I took the bull by the horns… and asked him out, yikes!!! And guesss what? He agreed, though he didn’t expect me to ask him!

Then we met at a country pub for a coffee. It started by Glen saying he’d phone me when he arrived at the pub. As I approached the front entrance, I saw this huge man sheepishly talking on the phone. “Wow”, I was a bit scared then, almost ready to bolt, then my phone rang. Yikes!!!! It was Glen, he’d come in the rear entrance and was close by. At this point I nervously shot past the huge guy and went in the pub, for some dutch courage, naturally. Within a few minutes Glen came in. “wow, not bad looking, must be hidden secrets though”, I thought, and stepped cautiously and slowly.

We spent a few minutes having coffee and smiling, as you do, then we decided to have a meal, and this really broke the ice. We spent all evening chatting, eating, swapping dishes and desserts. I didn’t know until a few weeks later that Glen had actually eaten before he came out to meet me that night, so he just ate more to make me feel comfortable. He must have been so full!

At the end of the night he gave me a wee kiss on my cheek and said to keep in touch, he’d like to meet up again. I agreed.

We did stay in touch and met up again 3 days later in very thick fog on the moors here. In fact I ended up almost at his house and he almost at mine! Somehow we had both passed each other en route and passed the place we were meeting at. But it was one of the worst night’s fog here for some time, well that’s my excuse anyway! Again we had a lovely evening which ended in a wee kiss on the cheek. Though the eye contact that night told me something more would come of our friendship. It did.

Glen and I are very close, best friends, lovers and he’s teaching me how to cook, as I even burn Weetabix! Gonna have to watch my diet though because he’s a whizz in the kitchen, lots of awesome dishes are coming out now, mmmm!

We are so glad we’ve had the opportunity to meet each other and we do have a lot to thank Singles365.com for. The site found us our dream partner, we only made our dreams come true.
